First things first – lots and lots of tristar strawberries today! Delicious.
Dagny and I started off the weekend with the plant sale at the Keith Parsonage, a house built in 1662 and maintained by our local historical society.
Saturday and Sunday were very busy – a birthday party, out of town house guests, a wedding, a walk in the woods, two beach visits, and a trip to Farfar’s Danish Ice Cream Shop – but today we finally got the plants into the ground.
This shovel belonged to my dad. I have used it to plant every single flower in my yard. It makes me happy to know how happy that would have made him.
