Behold, the cinnamon sugar cider donut:
As surely as we put by strawberries in June and corn in August, we put by piles of donuts from Honey Pot Hill Orchards each October. Frozen, then thawed, then warmed just a bit, they are a well-loved winter treat.
More than a few never make it that far, of course.
